I am an entrepreneur, corporate sustainability executive, and 2013 Aspen Institute First Mover Fellow with more than 20 years of diverse industry and functional experience instigating and championing cross-cultural, multi-stakeholder strategies at the intersection of business and society.

 

I am the Founder & CEO of Intentionalist, an online platform and guide to small businesses and the diverse people behind them. Previously, I led sustainability and corporate responsibility at Weyerhaeuser. Prior to Weyerhaeuser, I led corporate sustainability at Plum Creek and served as the President of the Plum Creek Foundation. My sustainability experience also includes roles overseeing sustainable development, supplier diversity, external communications and corporate citizenship at AREVA Inc., preceded by work for the U.N. Global Compact, Intel Corporation, and Business for Social Responsibility. 

I began my career in brand management at General Mills and subsequently worked for McMaster-Carr Supply Company, where I led the international sales operations department.

 

I received an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where I graduated magna cum laude and the recipient of the Barton Kyle Yount and President's Circle awards. I received a BA in International Relations from Carleton College and am a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. 

Originally from Seattle, Washington, I have lived and worked in China, Belgium, Jordan, France, and across the U.S. I serve on the Athlete Ally Board of Directors, the IslandWood Board of Directors, the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Net Impact Advisory Council. I am a recipient of a Human Rights Campaign Award for Exceptional Individual Achievement, a National Diversity Council LGBT Leadership Award, and was recognized as the Seattle Sounders FC Community MVP.
